Maybe it's not about being right (or wrong). 

Maybe it's about what they are thinking.
Is that important, useful, insightful ... understanding?

Maybe we can start by asking, repeatedly, what do I want?

Do you want to be with your knowledge or her thinking? Do you want to see the child's thinking as right or wrong or just value it? Do you see events as

problems

or

opportunities

?

Do you want to work on the

contents or on the

container? Do you want to do it for her or do you want her to do it for herself? Do you want her to change as per your designs ... or do you want her to be?
