[Jagriti55] Preparation of Session#10 > Potential
Session #10 - Potential
There is a cricket proverb which says, "Your Batting's potential is till the 10th Wicket". Well we have reached the 10th session. Time to review potential
1.
You see, we all want our child to reach his or her fullest potential - do you? Have you thought about your potential? Have you reached your maximum potential? If yes, How, when, where? What was required to reach it? If not, are you planning to ...
I don't mean to be sarcastic here - just inviting you to get whimsical about this whole concept of potential.
Jot down your thoughts, start a conversation with your neighbour or with your child or in any online group.
2.
Today, as you go around interacting with your child, keep asking this question to yourself - What do I want?
If you want, as a reminder put it around your neck or pin it on your dress.
3.
Today, think about your child's future.
Does the window you're looking out from is tainted with fear or anxiety.
Or does the window glass have marks of expectations on it.
Or you've put curtains of rosy patterns, happy polka dots.
What kind is your window?
What kind is your window?
4.
Imagine you are the coach of a cricket team. Your last pair has to bat and your team still needs 30 runs to win. What will you say to this last pair?
5.
Think of any unpleasant or troublesome or worrisome situation from the last few days/weeks involving you and your child (or anybody else if no child is there with you). Now relook at the situation from these seven windows:
- Child's thinking
- Child's feelings
- Child is a consultant
- Child's creativity
- Bad news is good news
- Reflection is the key
- Which Mi is child using
